Carroll Adams Completes Transformation of New Le Méridien Houston Downtown

December 29, 2017

The Carroll Adams recently completed its transformation of the new Le Méridien Houston Downtown which is housed within Houston’s first-ever skyscraper opened in 1952. This luxury hotel is now defined by its modern style with touches of European history and southern hospitality. The hotel maintains many of the features of the original building (The Melrose Building) which is currently listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Now home to Le Méridien Houston Downtown, the building features 255 guest rooms, 34 suites and a lively rooftop lounge. The transformation fills the interior with modern amenities while returning the façade to the original style that made it so iconic and vibrant in the 1950s.
